About the event
Pink Sappho is back and better than ever! We’re kicking things off this fall with a Y2K-themed party to unlock that peak Halloween energy.
Consider this your ultimate pre-game before Halloween weekend at Chicago's newest woman-founded sports bar, Level Sporting Club. We’re bringing early 2000s R&B, live gogo dancers, games, and a space centered on sapphics & women's sports.
Why Y2K Courtside? We all know and love the WNBA, but it didn't always get the recognition it has today. The league experienced a massive wave of popularity when it launched in '96, but faced a decline as the 2000s progressed. This event is an ode to what Y2K courtside culture should have been for our community, and a cross-celebration of the massive wave it is right now. Read the full story behind the vision on our blog.
So, come ready for free shots, games, immaculate throwback tracks, and a sea of Sapphic…
